Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026. Consistent attendance supports progress and protects the time reserved for each learner. This policy explains how private live online sessions are scheduled, cancelled, rescheduled, and counted.

Scheduling confirmation and time zone

A purchase does not reserve a lesson time. A session is reserved only after Corporate Lingua Academy confirms the date and time in writing. Scheduling communications use Pacific Time (PT) unless another time zone is expressly stated. Customers are responsible for checking any time-zone conversion and daylight-saving change that applies to their location.

Twenty-four-hour notice

To request a cancellation or change, email sales@corporatelinguaacademy.com at least 24 consecutive hours before the scheduled start time. These are calendar hours, not business hours. The timestamp showing when the request reaches the Academy’s email system controls whether notice was timely.

A timely request may be moved to another available time. Rescheduling is subject to instructor availability, is not guaranteed for a specific date or time, and is complete only after the Academy sends written confirmation.

Late cancellations, no-shows, and late arrivals

A request received less than 24 hours before the session, a no-show, or arrival too late to conduct a meaningful lesson is normally counted as a used session and is not refundable. If a learner joins late, the lesson generally ends at the originally scheduled time so the next commitment is not disrupted.

The 60-day monthly plan period

A monthly private lesson package remains active for 60 calendar days beginning on the confirmed program start date stated in the scheduling communication. All sessions, including any timely rescheduled sessions, must take place within that period. The purchaser and learner are responsible for maintaining enough availability to complete the selected plan.

Unused sessions expire when the 60-day period ends and do not automatically roll over or convert to cash. An extension applies only if the Academy confirms it in writing, an Academy-side issue prevented delivery, or applicable law requires otherwise. Vacations, examinations, work travel, and other planned absences should be discussed before the start date.

Single 30-minute sessions

A focused single-session purchase covers one live 30-minute appointment. The 24-hour notice rule applies once the time is confirmed. If the product page or scheduling message states a use-by period, the session must occur within that period.

Learner-side technology problems

Learners should test the device, internet connection, camera, microphone, and meeting link before class. A learner-side connection failure, unsupported device, forgotten link, incorrect time-zone conversion, or platform-access problem may cause the session to be counted. If the learner reconnects, the session still ends at the original time.

Academy-side cancellations and technology problems

If the instructor or an Academy-side technical issue prevents delivery, the session will be rescheduled or credited without reducing the learner’s remaining session balance. When necessary, the active plan period will be extended so the replacement session can reasonably occur. If continued delivery is not possible, the unused affected service will be handled under the Refund Policy.

Emergencies and events outside reasonable control

Documented emergencies may be reviewed individually, but an exception is not automatic. Severe weather, widespread outages, illness, natural disasters, government action, or other events outside reasonable control may require a different platform or a later time. The parties will work in good faith to reschedule when reasonably possible.

Repeated changes and schedule feasibility

Repeated rescheduling may make it impossible to complete a plan within 60 days. We may ask the purchaser to select a more dependable schedule or decline further changes that cannot reasonably fit within the active period. This does not alter the treatment of a session already counted under the late-cancellation rule.

Transfers and substitutions

Private sessions are reserved for the enrolled learner and may not be transferred or resold. A different participant may attend only with advance written approval and, for a minor, all required guardian consent.

Corporate and group training

Corporate programs, workshops, group sessions, reserved dates, and custom engagements follow the cancellation terms in the applicable written proposal or agreement. If that agreement is silent on an issue, this policy applies where reasonably relevant.

How to request a change

Include the learner’s name, order number if available, scheduled date and time, program or session title, and two or three preferred alternatives. Do not assume a new time is reserved until you receive written confirmation.
