About Corporate Lingua Academy
Corporate Lingua Academy provides live online English instruction for teens, college students, adults, professionals, and organizations. Our purpose is practical: help every learner communicate more clearly, confidently, and accurately in the situations that matter to their education, career, business, and daily life.
English is not only a subject to study. It is a skill people must use in real time—to answer a question, explain an idea, understand another speaker, write an effective message, participate in a class, lead a meeting, or build trust with a client. Corporate Lingua Academy connects language development to those real moments through focused instruction, active practice, and individualized feedback.
Why Corporate Lingua Academy exists
Many learners spend years studying vocabulary and grammar but still hesitate when they need to speak. They may understand a lesson yet struggle to respond quickly, organize their thoughts, pronounce key words clearly, or adapt their English to an academic or professional setting. Large classes and generic courses cannot always provide the individual speaking time or targeted correction needed to close that gap.
Corporate Lingua Academy was created to make English training more personal, relevant, and usable. Instead of forcing every learner through the same fixed sequence, instruction begins with the person: current ability, communication challenges, immediate responsibilities, preferred pace, and long-term goals. Lessons then concentrate on the language and strategies that can make the greatest practical difference.

Founder-led instruction and consistent support
Corporate Lingua Academy is currently founder-led, and private lessons are delivered directly by the Academy’s lead instructor. This gives learners continuity: the person who identifies the learner’s goals also observes recurring communication patterns, plans the instruction, provides feedback, and adjusts priorities over time.
The lead instructor brings more than ten years of English teaching experience, completed 120-hour TEFL training, holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and has practical experience in business consulting and entrepreneurship. That combination supports both general language development and the specialized communication needs of college students, professionals, managers, entrepreneurs, and business teams.
Our teaching approach
Although every learning plan is different, the instructional process follows a clear structure:
- Understand the goal: identify where the learner uses English, what currently feels difficult, and what improved communication should make possible.
- Establish priorities: review strengths, recurring gaps, current level, time-sensitive needs, and the skills that require the most attention.
- Teach useful language and strategies: explain vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, organization, tone, listening methods, or communication techniques in a clear and practical way.
- Practice actively: use conversation, role-play, guided exercises, presentations, interviews, reading, writing, or realistic simulations connected to the learner’s goals.
- Give focused feedback: correct high-impact issues, model stronger alternatives, and allow the learner to apply the feedback immediately.
- Adjust as needs change: revisit progress and shift attention when the learner develops new responsibilities, deadlines, or communication goals.
English that connects to real situations
Lessons are designed around active use rather than passive review alone. A teen may practice explaining an opinion or giving a presentation. A college student may summarize a reading, prepare for a seminar, or revise an original paragraph. An adult may rehearse an appointment, interview, trip, or workplace conversation. A professional may simulate a meeting, client call, negotiation, presentation, or difficult leadership discussion.
Grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and writing remain important, but they are taught within a meaningful context whenever possible. Learners practice not only knowing the language, but selecting and using it when they need it.
Two private learning formats
- Monthly 45-minute programs: ongoing one-to-one instruction for Teens, College Students, Adults, and Business English learners. Plans include 8, 12, 16, or 20 private sessions.
- Focused 30-minute sessions: individual appointments built around one defined speaking, academic, career, workplace, industry, or everyday communication objective.
Monthly programs are best suited to sustained development across several connected skills. Focused sessions are useful when the learner wants concentrated practice with one immediate topic. Corporate programs may use private coaching, small-group instruction, workshops, or longer development plans according to the written proposal.
Business English and corporate communication
Corporate Lingua Academy places particular emphasis on English used in professional environments. Workplace communication requires more than correct grammar. Professionals must organize information, understand their audience, choose an appropriate tone, respond under pressure, clarify misunderstandings, and communicate with credibility across roles and cultures.
Private Business English coaching is designed for individual professionals purchasing their own plan. Corporate English Training is designed for employers and organizations seeking a solution for one or more employees. Corporate programs can be scoped around business priorities, job functions, industry terminology, group needs, scheduling, and agreed progress observations.
Online learning and educational resources
Instruction is delivered live online, allowing learners to participate without traveling to a classroom. Learners need a reliable internet connection, a compatible device, working audio, and access to the confirmed meeting platform. Scheduling is coordinated in Pacific Time (PT), with other time zones considered according to availability.
The Corporate Lingua Academy BookStore complements the educational mission with books and learning resources across English, academic subjects, mathematics, science and technology, business and careers, teacher development, children and teen topics, and other areas of practical interest. Online lessons may be available internationally, but physical BookStore products are sold only within the United States.
Our standards
- Clarity: explain expectations, learning priorities, and feedback in understandable language.
- Respect: maintain professional, supportive, and age-appropriate communication.
- Relevance: connect instruction to the learner’s actual goals and situations.
- Consistency: encourage regular participation and a dependable learning rhythm.
- Integrity: teach learners how to improve their own work rather than completing graded work, tests, or professional responsibilities for them.
- Privacy: encourage responsible handling of personal, academic, company, and client information.
- Honest expectations: describe the service accurately without promising results that no responsible educator can guarantee.
What progress means to us
Progress can take many forms: a learner speaks sooner, gives a longer answer, understands more of a conversation, organizes ideas more clearly, reduces repeated errors, writes a stronger message, participates in a meeting, or handles an important situation with greater independence. The most useful measures are connected to the learner’s starting point and goals.
Results depend on factors including current level, attendance, participation, outside practice, program length, and the complexity of the goal. Corporate Lingua Academy does not guarantee fluency by a fixed date or promise a particular grade, test score, admission, job offer, promotion, sale, contract, or business result. We provide structured instruction, realistic practice, and focused feedback so learners can work toward meaningful improvement.
